Straight out of Compton came five individuals who would change the course of hip-hop and music history forever. In the small amount of time N.W.A. was together as a group, they’ve managed to influence extreme feelings of love and hate (to both critics and fans) through their amazing storytelling abilities. Who were N.W.A?
N.W.A aka Niggaz Wit Attitudes was a American hip-hop group from the inner city of Compton, California. Recognized for their controversy lyrics, they became a voice for disenfranchised African-Americans and placed a spotlight on the chain events that occurred in their city.

“City of Compton…”
Compton is a city in southern Los Angeles and it’s one of the oldest cities in the county. The city is known as the home of many famous rappers and home for gang violence in addition to its middle-class living environment.
