Action Bronson

Action Bronson is a rapper, chef, and TV Personality from the Flushing neighborhood of Queens, New York. Born to a Muslim Albanian Father and a Jewish mother, Bronson was raised in the Muslim tradition. Before he started rapping, Action was a chef for ten years, attending culinary school, hosting his own online cooking show Action in the Kitchen, and working at several different food establishments.

After breaking his leg on the job, he dedicated himself to rapping full-time. Action released his debut studio album, Dr. Lecter, in 2011, produced exclusively by producer Tommy Mas. Shortly after, he released another album produced by Statik Selektah, titled, Well-Done.

From 2012 to 2013, Action Bronson’s career took off. During this period, Bronson worked with Paul Rosenberg Goliath Artists, Warner Bros.’ VICE network, and Atlantic Records. He also performed at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, made the XXL Freshman Class of 2013, was nominated for BET’s Rookie of the Year, and released a substantial amount of projects. Action Bronson is also featured on multiple shows on Viceland, including F**k, That’s Delicious, The Untitled Action Bronson Show, and Traveling the Stars: Action Bronson and Friends Watch ‘Ancient Aliens.’
