Bishop Nehru

Bishop Nehru got his start in music making jazz and hip hop instrumentals at the age of 13 in Nanuet, New York. He posted his work on forums like Odd Future’s and Hypebeast’s, using the aliases of Kelz Scott and Kile Kanvas before he finally settled on the name Bishop Nehru. It wasn’t long before Nehru was featured on Worldstarhiphop as the Youth Rap Talent of the Week and’s Who’s Next section. Nehru put out his first EP in high school titled “Nehruvia: The Nehruvian”. Nehru was one of the first artists signed to Nas’s Mass Appeal Records and got to meet Nas personally. Additionally, Nehru has linked up with MF Doom, who he collaborated with to make their joint album “NehruvianDoom”. Bishop Nehru has also worked with the likes of DJ Premier and Madlib.
