Don Q

Don Q, a rapper out of The Bronx, is one of the most notable hip-hop artists to come out of Highbridge, next to his label mate A Boogie. Donald Quillo’s first stage name was Q tha Don, but then changed it to Don Q, after his friend saw a bottle at local liquor store and suggested the name. Q began rapping in the fifth grade, but didn’t take it seriously until late high school. 2016 was the year when Q’s career took off. After working with A Boogie to put out Highbridge The Label: The Takeover, Don Q and Boogie did a Hot 97 Freestyle and Q put out his mixtape, Don Season, right after. In the same year, Don Q was featured on the BET Hip Hop Awards cypher and collaborated with Meek Mill, Fabolous, Young Scooter, and others. In 2017, he dropped his second mixtape, Corner Stories, as well as a remastered version titled Corner Stories Reloaded.
