Termanology is a rapper from Lawrence, Massachusetts. Born into a rough neighborhood and a fragmented family situation, he started rapping at age 9, and continued to throughout high school. As a teenager, he worked as a janitor, and would use his time cleaning to listen to beats and write rhymes while he worked. In 2006, he dropped his debut mixtape Out the Gate, but it wasn’t until he dropped his single “Watch How It Go Down” that he started to gain substantial clout in the public eye and a spot on XXL’s Show and Prove column. He has released a series of mixtapes called Hood Politics totaling seven volumes, as well as a number of other mixtapes. He has released a number of studio albums as well, working closely with producer Statik Selektah.
