Trippie Redd is a rapper from Canton, Ohio. He was born into a single parent household with his mother, as his father was incarcerated at the time. He had an older brother who was making music, and after he passed away, Trippie was inspired to get involved in music and make a career out of it.
He started recording music at 14 and made his first breakthrough hit called “Angry Vibes.” After graduating high school, Redd moved out to Atlanta to pursue music, where he started working closely with Lil Wop and Kodie Shane. He says that he never had to pay for studio time because producers always wanted him in their studios. Since then, he has signed with Elliot Grainge Entertainment and relocated to Los Angeles.
He has released most of his body of work from 2016 to 2017, with six EPs and two mixtapes. Trippie Redd’s most famous songs are “Love Scars” and “POLES1469,” each with over 29M views on YouTube. He has also had beef with 6IX9INE in the past.
