Young Nudy

Young Nudy is a rapper based out of the Zone 6 section of Atlanta, Georgia. The name “Nudy” was the nickname given to him by his grandmother. He is cousins with fellow Atlanta rapper 21 Savage, and commonly posts on social media with the hashtag #21, most likely referring to his affiliation with 21 Slaughter Gang.

Nudy says Savage tried to get him to rap before, but without initial success. Eventually, he was featured on 21 Savage’s track “Air It Out” in 2015, which currently has over 47M views on YouTube. Nudy says he didn’t start taking rap seriously until his single “First Day Out” reached 80k views, which to him, was a lot at the time.

Although his Soundcloud tracks date back as early as 2015, Nudy dropped his first official album in 2016, titled, Slimeball. He has worked closely with the up-and-coming Atlanta producer, Pi’erre Bourne, and earned a co-sign from Juicy J, who featured on Nudy’s track “I Got.” His latest album, titled, Nudy Land, was released in September 2017.
