Max

Max is currently a student studying Journalism at Northeastern University in Boston. He was studying business for his first three semesters before realizing he needed to study something slightly less soul-crushing. Writing had always come naturally to him, and he doubted that a degree in philosophy would help him pay the bills. This led him to dedicate his time in academia to honing his writing skills. Since then, he has written for his school-affiliated newspaper, the Huntington News. His love affair with hip-hop began after his close friend put him on to 2pac in grade school, and the sappy poetry he wrote in his early adolescence started to evolve into slightly less sappy 16s he wrote over beats he found on YouTube. In his sophomore year of high school, Max recorded a mixtape and sold copies out of his backpack. Max still makes music from time to time, but would rather freestyle at a kickback on any given day.
