Chairman Mike Seiman announced today that the Board of Directors has unanimously elected Elijah Torres (Mista Blessington) as Chief Executive Officer of the HHMW division effective October 1, 2019.
“After a thorough and deliberate selection process, the Board of Directors is delighted that Elijah will lead HHMW as we navigate through the evolving and expanding landscape of music rights & digital service providers,” said Co-Founder Brian “Saigon” Carenard. “Elijah has a thorough understanding of the needs of songwriters, publishers and licensees who utilize the HHMW platform.
Elijah’s history of negotiating big deals and building relationships in Music and Sport’s entertainment is arguably exactly what HHMW needs.
Elijah is taking on a wide swath of responsibilities in his new role. He’ll be in charge of the divison’s “corporate development, sales, marketing, public affairs, security, moderation, and legal,” as well as global development. He’ll also be overseeing “emerging businesses” and helping to scale HHMW even more than the platform already has in the last five years. Elijah is a bulldog executive who excels under the pressure of stiff competition, and that should help the platform compete as one of the biggest media companies in music entertainment.
