It’s no doubt that Tiffany Haddish’s career has been on the rise, along with her attention in the media. The actress is definitely one to lean on for an interesting story and maybe a little too much information. From the Beyonce bite incident, to asking Leonardo DiCaprio to let her “hit it,” Tiffany can’t help but share her cringe-worthy moments featuring some of the top A-listers with the world. And no surprise Drake gets reeled into her comedic saga as well. She recently dished on how the Canadian rapper bailed on their date.
Haddish made an appearance on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Talk Table streamed on Facebook. She opened up in great detail about the initial interaction while on set of Drake’s music video shoot for the track “Nice For What.” The two hit it off instantly, following Drizzy asking for her number. The conversation over text led to him suggesting they should go out sometime and casually stating, “We’ll make it work.”

After the date was set, Tiffany described how she blocked out some time to prepare, which she normally does for a planned dinner with any man. “I block all this time off, like, I’m gonna get my mustache waxed, get my armpits waxed, got me a nice little dress. Then I’m like, ‘So what time are we heading out? Are you sending a car?” The conversation quickly became weak with Drake’s response, “Oh, man, my bad.” Apparently, the 31-year-old rapper had a family emergency back in his hometown and was already in Canada.
Tiffany was undeniably a little disappointed with the short notice cancellation. “I could have made $100,000 today, but I was trying to see what that D do,” she stated. “But all right!” Tiffany and Drake have not put efforts in rescheduling the date, but it most likely won’t take long before she finds a new celeb infatuation or suitor.
