Have you ever wondered what your favorite rapper did before he/she became your favorite rapper? Clearly, they weren’t always rich and even when they first started rapping, they had to work real jobs to pay the bills while working towards their dreams. Can you imagine ordering endless shrimp from Nicki Minaj at your local Red Lobster? Or Rick Ross working as a correctional officer before becoming a boss? You won’t believe the jobs your favorite rappers had before making it to the top.

Before becoming “the boss,” Rozay worked as a correctional officer for 18 months at the South Florida Reception Center. When a media publication asked Ross about his old job, he denied it until photos of him in a CO uniform surfaced. He then told the truth.
