Trapped in the Trap House
Rapper 2 Chainz opened up a trap house right in the middle of a busy street in Atlanta to help him promote one of his albums, and it’s recently been getting a ton of attention.
However, not all of that attention is the good kind. Some people think it’s a huge distraction, and others think it’s just plain disrespectful. One thing led to another and it seems like the trap house’s glory days are all but over.
The 39-year-old rapper from Georgia has an interesting way of doing things, and this is a pretty good example. The rapper has always been one to support his hometown and the city of Atlanta, but this may have been taking things a little bit too far.
I mean, can you really trust someone who used to call himself “Tity Boi” to make good decisions?
Howell Mill Road
The street that the house is on, Howell Mill Road, is right in the middle of Atlanta and it just happens to be one of the busiest streets in the whole city. Having a ton of billboards around your hometown to promote an upcoming album is pretty normal, but we all know that 2 Chainz isn’t a very normal person.
The rapper decided that he was going to rent a house on the street and paint the whole thing pink. Not only that, but he had the word “TRAP” written right at the top of it to promote the album Pretty Girls Like Trap Music.
He even hosted a private party at the location before the album came out, and he played the unreleased tracks for all of his fans to hear. But what’s going on inside the house isn’t what’s getting all the attention. Fans and people passing by on the street are holding up traffic trying to take photos of the building, and local residents are NOT happy.
