ColleGrove and Yo Gotti will get it poppin'

Last year, Lil Wayne put on his inaugural Lil Weezyana Fest in his hometown, New Orleans. The festival took place on August 28, a day before the 10th anniversary of the devastating tragedy that was Hurricane Katrina. Not only was it a time to share a sense of hometown pride with his fellow New Orleanians, but it was also a time for reuniting.

Wayne reunited with three-quarters of his legendary rap group, The Hot Boys. Group members Wayne, Juvenile and Turk came together to perform hits from the ’90s and the 2000s with Mannie Fresh as their DJ. It was just like the old days sans B.G., who was unable to join the fellas onstage due to his 14-year prison sentence.

Wayne, along with Master P and the No Limit gang, New Orleans’ legendary artists August Alsina and Big Freedia, and a surprise appearance from Drake made the concert one of the most epic events in New Orleans music history. If that set list alone doesn’t have you rushing to buy tickets for this year’s fest, it’s anticipated to be just as amazing. With special guests ColleGrove and Yo Gotti, to name a couple, it will be on and popping. And here are five more reasons that you should get tickets ASAP…
