Beyoncé speaks out
Beyonce shows love for victims during Glasgow show
While performing in Glasgow, Beyoncé paused her show to pay tribute to all the people who were unjustly killed at the hands of law enforcement. She then performed a powerful rendition of her song “Freedom” to punctuate the message.
Beyoncé wasn’t the only one to speak out this week
Drake, Meek Mill, John Legend, Kanye West, Chance The Rapper and more were vocal about the recent deaths of Sterling and Castile. More and more celebrities chimed in and used their platforms in hopes of instilling change. JAY Z released his first song in three years entitled “Spiritual,” which spoke about America’s battle to overcome racial tension.
