Girls, Girls, Girls
“People are so miserable,” Cardi tweeted the day after her, Offset and Celina’s social media feud. “They rather believe a lie just to talk about something ..you will soon thoo.” In the same mood, Offset — born Kiari Kendrelbl Cephus — let his followers know that his focus is only on his career, fanbase, family and fiancée. “Everything else is noise,” he said.
Even after Celina posted the results to Offset’s paternity test, which confirmed there is a “99.99% probability that the Obligor (Offset) is the biological father of the child,” Cardi and Offset still weren’t worried.
In fact, when XXL Magazine posted their article on the event, Cardi spoke up. “Why would ya post this knowing that s**t is wild fake,” she tweeted the outlet.
Fans backed her up, of course. “That s**t is fake! Individual is spelled wrong,” wrote a Twitter user. “Ya can’t get paternity results back in two days.” “XXL stop posting fake s**t,” wrote another.
Now that the truth is out there with no doubts, Cardi (and everyone else) can finally move on. The rapper, who is expecting a baby of her own, recently announced that she’s going on a hiatus to have her child in peace.
“Because, you know, shawty keep growing,” Cardi said before revealing that despite how she’s been looking on stage recently, “a b***h barely can breathe.” “I wanna thank y’all for understanding,” she continued. “Thank you very much. I f**king love y’all motherf**kers.”
The rapstress made sure to tell fans that they can still expect to see her alongside Bruno Mars on his 24K Magic World Tour. According to reports, the star will be two months post-birth when the string of performances kick off in September.
Starting in Denver, the tour will last for several weeks afterwards. So far, tour stops include Colorado, Minnesota, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, Tennessee and more. The duo is also projected to stop in Canada for two nights.
Cardi was suspected of being pregnant for months before she finally and officially shared the news during her performance on Saturday Night Live early April. On the heels of her reveal, which some fans dubbed “iconic,” Cardi’s sister accidentally revealed something of her own.
Twenty-one-year-old Hennessy Carolina posted a sweet, lengthy message to her older sister and her unborn child, inadvertently mentioning the baby’s gender.
While Hennessy’s original Instagram post was riddled with slip-ups, the star corrected the caption, taking out any references to the baby’s gender. However, The Shade Room had already screen shot her mistakes.
“A baby is truly a blessing from God,” Hennessy began. “I know how much you always wanted to be a mom!”
After writing how excited she is to become an aunt, Hennessy said, “I’m going to be able to hold baby you and give her all the kisses and hugs.” “I’m passing my daughter crown down,” the star added.
In the corrected version of the post, Hennessy changes the caption to read: “I’m going to be able to hold ur baby and give the baby all the kisses and hugs! your pregnancy is mines we pregnant can’t believe we’re having a baby!”
