She's not having his lies today!
Don’t come for Deb Antney because she will clap back at you like the most furious thunder you’ve ever heard in your life! She was once like a mother to Gucci Mane, and she treated him like the brother of her son Waka Flocka. Emphasis of “once was,” because they all fell out in a very bad way. Gucci wrote about what went down between them in his brand new book, but not everyone is buying his story.

Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka were once the best of friends. They made music together, lived together, and Gucci had a working relationship with Waka’s mom Deb Antney who managed him. However, it all went bad in 2013. Gucci had been arrested a few times before, but he was apparently fairly unstable at the time which resulted in the star being charged with multiple unprovoked assaults and being in possession of a firearm among other things. He was convicted on the charges and sat in jail until May 26, 2016.
Normally, Waka and Deb would have stayed by Gucci’s side, but he didn’t seem to want them to be there for him. Waka believes that Gucci is jealous of how big his friend got while he was stuck in prison. Waka said in an interview on The Therapist:
“You can give people so much opportunity to make it right. But then they still try to make it seem like you the villain. You the hater. It’s vice versa. But it’s like, damn, do I get in position to fight back and tell him? I’m gonna look like a sucker. So it’s like… everybody believe what they want, man. I’m getting money and I’m happy.”
Before going to prison, Gucci filed suit against Waka, Deb, and other people associated with 1017 Brick Squad Record for trying to steal the label away from him as well as take away money that he was owed.

Gucci Mane has been doing well now that he’s a free man. He even released a tell-all book conveniently called The Autobiography of Gucci Mane so that his fans will understand everything he’s been going through. The problem is that not everyone believes he’s telling the whole truth.
His former manager Deb Antney doesn’t care for what she’s read so far. Gucci implies in the book that she went behind his back to remaster a song called “Make The Trap Say Aye” that he recorded before he went to jail and gave it to OJ Da Juiceman to release instead. When Deb was asked about what happened, she stated, “I will share this and I will share this one time only. I will tell you that that’s not true, okay. ‘Make The Trap Say Aye’ had nothing to do with it, it was OJ’s record. That had nothing to do with it.”

She also had a few words to say about Gucci’s book as a whole:
“The next thing I’m gonna tell you is that Gucci didn’t write that book in its entirety because half of the book is false. So if anybody know the history of where we all were, pay attention. He already tells you who he is in the book. That’s it.”
Gucci is free to make music on his own terms, and so is Waka, but it doesn’t look like anything will be resolved between the former friends who were more like brothers for a long time.
