Ja Rule brought 50 Cent’s estranged son into their somehow-popping-again beef. The famous hip-hop crooner took a quote from an interview that Marquise Jackson gave to Rap-Up and used it as ammunition in the feud between the two New York rappers.
The interview asked Jackson for his inspirations and he listed his father’s one-time chief rival right off the bat.
“Ja Rule was probably one of the first to [sing and rap] and I listen to a lot of Ja Rule because of that,” Marquise said in the interview.
Ja took the quote and added that he also inspired 50 in a catty Instagram post.
“Glad I was able to inspire you and your dad,” he wrote.
We’d say it’s a low blow to bring a kid into the beef, but early-aught mainstays Fif and Ja are still sniping at each other in the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eighteen. Clearly, there are no rules.
Though Jackson is estranged from his father, he said in the interview that he wasn’t attempting to take shots at his dad.
“I just love music,” he offered. “I’m not really a biased person. If you make good music, you make good music. Even if you made a song about me that I thought was fire, I’ll probably say, ‘Man, that joint was hard.’ You can’t deny it. It’s just facts.”
In fairness, though, 50 brought this upon himself in several ways. The first? He seems to have re-energized the beef while promoting his TV show Power. Fif posted a photo of a character from the show screaming and captioned it “Ja Rule’s kids asking him for the 100th time if they could watch ‘Power.’”
If that wasn’t enough, he’s also been a major jerk to Marquise. On his son’s 18th birthday he posted a flyer for an end of child support payments party.
“Child support release party Friday 13, Club Lust 1:00 AM Happy Hour drinks on me. Tom petty is alive !!!” he wrote. “Ladies with no kids, Free Admission 😆 Ladies who didn’t collect child support, Free Admission.”
Marquise clapped back, taking shots at his truly terrible sketch show 50 Central.
“Damn, if only your new TV show was this funny,” he wrote. 50 was undeterred. He said that Marquise would have to make his own way from now on.
“Lol, you see how far people get into things they know nothing about?” he asked on another post. “SMH. So you like to see the boy challenge me? Real life is starting. Gotta get out and make it happen like I did now.”

Ja has been throwing a lot of heat in 50’s direction since the pair started inexplicably beefing again.
“Fun hip hop FACT: 50 Cent is a p**sy,” he shared on Twitter “Let’s be clear I mind my business…but for some reason 50 cent keeps my name in his mouth,.I think he’d rather have my d**k in his mouth #b**cha**n**ga #ticklebooty.”
That string of tweets, which ended with Ja encouraging fans to call 50 Cent “ticklebooty,” was kicked off by an interview in which 50 Cent couldn’t help but talk about Ja Rule again.
Basically, these two are going to beef until the sun burns out. Check out Ja Rule’s post up top and prepare yourself for more. Sound off in the comments and don’t forget to SHARE this article.
