New Beef Alert?
In honor of hump day, here’s some drama to get you through the rest of the week:
Kash Doll decided to have story time on her Instagram Live, telling everyone that YG originally asked her to feature on “She Bad” — a song featured on Cardi B’s latest album Invasion of Privacy — before it ultimately ended up on Cardi’s album without her. A recording of Kash’s alligations ended up on The Shade Room, putting it right in front of Cardi’s face.
Cardi clapped back, Cardi’s younger sister Hennessy Carolina chimed in then Kash said she’s “about to call my friends.”
It all started after Kash rapped what would have been her verse on the track… had YG not flipped the script. At first, she said she didn’t want to talk about the situation, claiming that she’s only releasing her verse as a remix to “She Bad” because she liked the song and her own project was late.
“Yeah, I did it in January. I don’t even really wanna talk about what happened with the song. But since it’s about to come out, I know ima have to speak on it. It ain’t nothing. It’s just I did a remix to the song, I like it,” she said.
“Okay, I’m lying. I did a feature,” she said before opting to stick with her first mind and stay quiet. However, when the artist went to post her remix on Sound Cloud, she was blocked from doing so, which seemingly inspired her to open up a little more.
“I did the song back in January because YG asked me to feature on it. So I got on the song,” Kash explained. “Gave him the feature, didn’t hear nothing else about it. Then when her project came out, the song was on there.”
After saying that she “don’t care” because she “don’t play that game,” the rapper said that she just “left it alone.” “But… since I couldn’t get y’all the ‘Check’ video, I’m like, ‘Alright, well, ima just give them the remix so that they could, you know, have something to hold them over,'” she went on before telling fans that couldn’t put the song online.
But wait… There’s more.
When the internet heard Kash Doll’s side of things, some ralled behind her. One fan flat out called Cardi “messy.”
Known for clapping back, Cardi responded, “Messy how ? The song was presented to me with just YG on it .I asked him if i can have the song for my album and he said Yes .Anything that he did with the song before me it’s none of my business or my problem !”
During a recent interview with MTV News, which took place in April, Cardi told the same story when she was asked about the making of “She Bad.” Regardless of her consistency, some still slammed Cardi.
So, the rapper’s sister Hennessy jumped in. “Mother f**kers sneak dissing since last year and still wanna act like they ain’t salty …. so over all these frauds,” she wrote on social media.
The End (For Now)
Clearly Kash didn’t appreciate the two-against-one situation that was forming, so she publicly invited others into the mix. Hitting social media once more, she said, “Alright, y’all gon’ double team me? Alright. Y’all gon jump me on this b***h? Alright, I’m bout to call my friends.”
