Weezy has another day in court.
Lil Wayne has been trying to stay low on the radar, but trouble still seems to find him. While he’s currently trying to stay healthy after suffering numerous seizures this year, the rapper is now facing more legal trouble. Weezy is about to be sued and the accusations against him aren’t looking pretty.
Lil Wayne has a history with lawsuits
Weezy is already dealing with a lawsuit of his own—he’s in the process of suing Cash Money CEO Birdman for $51 million. The rapper’s self-proclaimed “father” refuses to release Wayne from the label and put out new music for fans. Lil Wayne claims that Birdman has been keeping money from him that Wayne has earned over the years.
Now Wayne’s about to be sued for allegedly assaulting a bouncer
Weezy is about to be sued for battery. According to TMZ, Wayne is being accused of allegedly putting his hands on a nightclub bouncer in Los Angeles during the BET Awards weekend. The site reports, “The bouncer’s attorney — Arsineh Aghakhani from Los Angeles City Law — says she’s preparing the lawsuit against Lil Wayne for battery after her client claims the rapper attacked him while working the door last month at Hyde nightclub for a BET Awards after-party.”
He was allegedly denied entry into a nightclub in L.A.
TMZ previously reported that Weezy and his crew were pretty upset after they were denied entry to Hyde Lounge this past month. Reports say that he allegedly struck one of the bouncers, who was hospitalized for injuries later that evening.
