Move from Meek Mill, please.
As we’ve seen time and time again, things don’t go too well for people who get too close to entertainers. Whether it’s random bikini-clad women being chucked from festival stages, leaping Lil Uzi Vert fans catching a beatdown or just a vicious tongue-lashing from Cardi B, there’s a price to pay if you get too close to folks who are used to overzealous stans crowding them.
After all, when you deal with enough mic-grabbers and rowdy crowds on the daily, you learn to claim your space pretty quick. And that’s exactly what Meek Mill did in this short clip. He was performing in some kind of pool. (Side note: Is Meek performing on cruise ships now? I mean “Back To Back” wasn’t that bad.) That’s when a random woman dances up kinda close and feels more than a little poke coming through. In one swift motion, Meek manages to tell the woman to get the hell on without even breaking concentration. That’s talent. No squad of eager-to-please memesters necessary.
A String Of L’s
Meek has had a rough few weeks; a video of him shoving a woman isn’t likely to do him any favors, to be honest. He was arrested in New York City for bringing a bit of his Philadelphia dirtbike and quad-squad with him to the city. Unfortunately, NYC is less forgiving of that sort of thing.
Shortly after that, he got clowned by an internet personality best known for very openly stealing from fast food restaurants. The Instagram semi-celebrity Boonk said that Meek called him out and posted a response to the rapper.
“Meek, boy, you, a whole b*tch,” Boonk said on Instagram. “N*gga, I ain’t worried about you. What you think, you the only one that got guns? N*gga, I’ll slap the f*ck out of you. What the f*ck you think this is? Funny thing is, you worrying about me, bruh, I ain’t worried two sh*ts about you … Stay over there and keeping taking them Ls, boy. F*ck you, n*gga.”
One things for certain, Meek has been on a steady path of nothing but L’s since his Drake beef. Even though some decent songs can seem to break out of the cloud that exists around the rapper, when you do things like write a message to Wale because he won’t support your album, you deserve to be clowned a little bit.
“I wasn’t even mad at u, fam. You got some real issues and you jealous,” he said. “Broke rapper! This is the last time I’m addressing sh*t on the internet. But if I don’t talk about it one of you dudes gone get hurt speaking my name like it’s sweet.”
