We Say Goodbye to 'The Family Hustle'!
After six seasons, T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle closes the curtains on the series. With all that is going on with the Harris family, the end of the series comes as no surprise. Dubbed the modern-day Cosby Show, it gave us an intimate look into the family’s lives, all the ups and downs. Did that eventually cause the demise of this beloved family?
Too Far Gone?
In the beginning of the series finale, Tiny sits down with her Mother (Ms. Diane) to catch up. After Tiny said that she hasn’t been able to serve Tip with divorce papers, Ms. Diane asked if they are sure they want a divorce.
Tiny said yes, but Ms. Diane didn’t think so. After all, would Tip be calling Tiny at all hours of the night if they weren’t in love? Ms. Diane suggested they have a talk, so Tiny agreed.
Closure or Progress?
T.I. and Tiny met at a restaurant to talk. It’s time for them to hash this out and finally come to a decision about their relationship. Good thing Tiny decided it would be best not to have the kids around because, boy, did this conversation get heated!
Tip felt that Tiny had been the most beneficial person in their marriage. Tiny on the other hand felt that Tip was stuck in the stone ages and didn’t want to see her progress. After going back and forth on who did what for whom in the relationship, the root of the marriage issue was finally disclosed when Tip mentioned Tiny getting a new house.
He Cheated/She Cheated
Tiny said (one of the reasons) she moved into a new house was because Tip started cheating, with a girl he hired, no less. Of course, Tip has a quick response.
“You done had your sh*t when you was out with this mother f***ing dude that you know I don’t f*** with,” he said. The “dude” he’s referring to is, allegedly, Floyd Mayweather. “I ain’t intertwining my souls with no mother f***er. It’s totally different than what you’re doing,” Tiny clapped back. Shots fired… but are both down?
