Jokes & Music
It was all laughs and jokes when Safaree Samuels visited The Breakfast Club. Sitting with Angelea Yee, DJ Envy, and Charlamagne da God, it was hard for the artist to talk about music or to share what he’s been doing lately. As the old saying goes, timing is everything. Unfortunately, the timing of this event is overshadowing Safaree’s new single.
Listeners definitely got to hear his side of the story though. According to the “Hunnid” rapper, he did not leak his own pictures, contrary to popular belief. Instead, he says that the video got out due to a Snapchat error.
Gang, Gang, Gang
As Charlamagne puts it, Safaree has “join the ranks with the Kardashians” and Blac Chyna. Though viewers were quite pleased with his leak, the rapper seemed very embarrassed. “That’s not something I want out there. You know what I’m sayin’?” he began. “Me nieces… They follow me. They watch everything I do. My moms, my sisters.”
He then insinuated that people who believed he leaked the pictures as a promo tactic were completely wrong. Afterwards, he indirectly confirmed that the picture/video was really him, before explaining that he saved it to his Snap with no current intention of sending it to anyone.
“I didn’t send that to somebody in Snap. You know, like, sometimes you make a Snap and then you save it and keep it,” he explained.
“I didn’t take a picture of my meat. I took a picture of myself,” he went on, saying that he was showing off the ‘V’ of his pelvic bone. “I be workin’ that hard, so I just wanted to make sure that my joint is, like, poppin.” The rapper confessed that he captured the shot on Snapchat because the camera is “different.”
“Well the reviews have been good,” Charlamagne said, after asking if Mona Scott suggested he leak the video. “I haven’t seen it work for a man yet. This the first time I’ve seen n*des work for a man.”
For those who missed it, the internet went absolutely wild over Safaree’s dill pickle. Collectively, everyone seemed to have forgotten the days when he was simply the end of a bad joke. After pictures of his private parts made their way through Twitter, Safaree became more of a… person of interest.
“#safaree …… the veins …… the thickness….. it look so HEAVY !” wrote one Twitter user. “Y’all spent too much time tryna play #Safaree cuz he was ‘corny’ but he’s funny, good looking, about his family and now we know of his curved member of love. I’m on his side,” user SAMiiAM tweeted.
“Suddenly #safaree music not sounding to bad,” wrote Twitter user JilianeF_, followed by a meme of a women goofily vibing to music. “Safari’s d**k was sent straight from Wakanda. #Safaree,” tweeted user BellMilic, referencing the newly released movie Black Panther.
