Do you see the difference?
For the past 7 years, we have been glued to our TVs every Monday night to tune into Love & Hip Hop. Whether it’s New York, Atlanta, or Hollywood, the franchise has kept us on interested and on the edge of our seats. Mona Scott-Young knew exactly what she was doing when she put the likes of Joseline Hernandez, Rasheeda, and Karlie Redd on our screens.
The ladies of the Love & Hip Hop franchise have come a long way with their looks. From small curves that have doubled in size over time, to other surgical jobs, the leading ladies of our favorite ratchet reality show have definitely transformed over the years. Get into their glow up!
When the self-proclaimed Puerto Rican Princess was first introduced to us, she wasn’t always the baddest b*tch she claims to be now. She went from stripper Shenellica Bettencourt to the “Baddest Punta,” as she also called herself.
Fresh onto the screen, Joseline came out swinging with her attitude, style, and was always pretty vocal about her past and how she met Stevie J. She stayed wearing the skimpiest of clothes, showing off her sexy physique and had no shame in doing so. As you can see in the photo above, Joseline never shied away from donning clothes that left little to the imagination.
Now a mother-of-one, Joseline has turned her sexy down — well, kind of. While she definitely still posts sexy AF photos on Instagram, she makes sure they are a tad more tasteful. She also posts a myriad of photos of her baby girl, Bonnie Bella, who she shares with on-again-off-again lover, Stevie J. Even her hair has changed.
From her pictures, it looks like she’s traded in wild and colorful wigs for a more tamed bob. And it’s working for her. Though she hasn’t been in the spotlight as much, Joseline still carries the torch for being the spiciest, fiercest LHH cast member there ever was.
From beginning to end, Karlie Redd has remained the same — messy. But there are a couple things about her that have changed, both fashionably and physically. When we first met Karlie, her style wasn’t so in your face; She kept things pretty tamed. Her hair was black and, though she’s always had a nice figure, she kept certain body parts hidden, like in the above photo.
This picture is from 2010, when Karlie walked the red carpet at BET‘s Rip the Runway show. This girl is similar to the Karlie we once knew. Fans weren’t ready for the slay Karlie would soon provide throughout the upcoming years of Love & Hip Hop…
