Show Stopper
According to DJ Akadimiks, Tory Lanez got that “free smoke.” While at one of Lanez’s performances, concert-goers watched the “Say It” artist pause the show to check someone standing in the crowd.
There’s no details on what happened before or after the clip, but one thing is clear: Lanez was “deada**” about his statements.

New Found Toughness
“We can do it right now,” Lanez says towards the end of the video.
The clip lasted only a few seconds, but fans hung on to it for much longer. Several viewers speculated that Lanez’ toughness is newly found, mentioning his almost-fight with fellow rapper Travis Scott.
“Man Tory cool and all but he think he tough because he confronted Travis and Travis didn’t do anything,” commented an Instagram user. “Gets in a little altercation with Travis, thinks he’s all hard now,” wrote another.
The altercation they’re referring to was posted in the from of a video on World Star Hip Hop‘s Instagram page this week (March 13). After Lanez tweeted that he “can’t sound like” artists he wrote lyrics for, Travis Scott — who has/had a bad boy reputation — found himself confronting the Canadian rapper. Afterwards, Lanez reflected on the altercation with Hot New Hip Hop, saying his adrenaline was a factor in how heated things got.
“I’m small, but my adrenaline level is at a different level. I’m in a crowd of ten thousand, twenty-thousand fans,” he began.
“It comes to a point where I get off stage, and I’m in a room…and Travis busts in the room like ‘yo come talk to me blood, come talk to me outside,'” the artist continued. “I was going to talk to him, but I felt he was being too disrespectful. I didn’t go talk to him outside.”
“He came in the there, and he was charged up, and I was charged up, and it came to a point where I was like…let’s fade it out,” Lanez remembered.
Publicly

Regardless of the reason Lanez felt right publicly checking a fan, the fact is that he did it unapologetically. As Lil Wayne recently proved, there’s nothing wrong with getting your audience straight. He paused an entire performance to give concert-goers an etiquette lesson.
After someone threw an unidentified object on stage during Wayne’s set, the “Lollipop” rapper cut the music and offered the crowd some friendly advice. While concert-goers boo’d Wayne right after he stopped the music, they quickly started listening to what he had to stay. It took the artist only a few minutes to stay his piece, make his point and move on.
“So, let me letchu know… Where I’m from […] we don’t throw s**t on stage,” he began. “Because all my ni**as got pistols and they don’t know who to shoot at,” the New Orleans born rapper continued. “So, if you throw something else, Ima be more safe and Ima be the bigger person and just leave. Cause I don’t want kill everybody.”
“Let’s go,” Wayne said before continuing on with his performance. The video of the moment, which DJ Akademiks posted on Twitter Tuesday (March 13), has been viewed nearly three million times already. “Low key Lil Wayne handled that maturely. Could b worse,” Akademiks captioned the clip.
