Police shootings, assassination, and clown makeup - this video goes hard!
Hip Hop Hates Trump
No surprise there! Snoop’s new track is the newest addition to the anti-Trump hip hop catalogue. Other notable tracks include Common’s “Letter to the Free” and YG and Nipsey Hussle’s “F**k Donald Trump.”
But while those songs contained lyrical threats to the President, neither depicted him being assassinated…
When asked what was on his mind when writing the song, Snoop told Billboard: “The whole world is clownin’ around, and [Jesse’s] concept is so right on point with the art direction and the reality, because if you really look at some of these motherf**kers, they are clowns.”
Trump’s Lawyers Are Demanding an Apology
Of course, the White House saw this as no laughing matter. The president’s personal lawyer (a long-time Trump crony), Michael Cohen, demanded that “Snoop owes the President an apology…”
Now the story starts to sound like mafia stuff: This may… or may not… have been a threat by a man who may… or may not… know how to make things… disappear…
