"You fired, Igor."
It’s been a busy few weeks for the Brothers Sremm. In addition to playing for an insanely large crowd on an incredibly tiny stage at Lollapalooza, the pair have also released a new single called “Perplexing Pegasus” and shared a comic book via publisher Valiant.
The comic book focuses on the pair as they head to New Orleans to battle a villain named Shadowman.
“Comic books are a form of entertainment. I get to make all the sounds and effects in my head. It’s just like you use your imagination – you go through the pictures and the pictures are always awesome. It’s like an escape from reality,” Jimmi told Billboard when the book was announced. It has a lot of twists and turns. It keeps me involved and interested. I can’t even take my eyes off of Shadowman when I read it. I have to finish the book.”
“Rae Sremmurd are huge comic books fans, and everyone here at here at Valiant is a huge fan of their music,” said Valiant CEO & Chief Creative Officer Dinesh Shamdasani in a statement to the magazine. “The combination of their talents, along with those of Eliot Rahal and Renato Guedes – two creators that we’re very excited about – feels like a project will take fans and readers by surprise.
What do you think? Was Jimmi out of line to fire his driver? Did it cross a line to post that sort of thing to social media? Or is the Rae Sremmurd member fully within his rights? Let us know in the comments and be sure to SHARE this article.
