Kudos to Kanye! The superstar has successfully completed all 240 hours of his community service hours that were assigned to him by the state of California after being found guilty of assaulting a photographer. Back in 2013, Kanye West was found guilty of assault for breaking a photographer’s camera at Los Angeles International Airport. By paying for his erratic behavior, he performed community service. But instead of cleaning up or helping out the less fortunate, Kanye West was given a different type of task.
Kanye West was assigned to be a mentor for fashion students at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College. This wouldn’t seem to be a difficult feat for Yeezy who is a known figure in the elite fashion world. However, with the hectic schedule that celebrities maintain on a daily basis, it could’ve gotten difficult. But Yeezy completed all 240 hours of his community service with flying colors!
Read more to see the awesome progress report that Dean Joseph Guerreri, of Los Angeles Trade-Technical College, gave Kanye West.
Guerreri stated that Kanye West was a great mentor to the fashion students and that West even did more of the the 240 hours that was required of him. Unfortunately Kanye West couldn’t attend his court date to hear the good news.
The entertainer-turned-fashion designer had to fly back to New York to debut his Yeezy Season 2 for NYFW 2015. But, we’re sure he received his dope progress report well. Congratulations to Kanye West for successfully completing his community service! Read the letter that Dean Joseph Guerreri wrote about Kanye West’s performance below.
