It’s easy to drop a movie. It’s one of the hardest things to do. With money being an issue, as well as landing credible actors and dealing with a handful of criticism, making a movie isn’t as easy as it looks. Now, TV movies are even harder, especially in hip hop. Only a few have managed to weather the storm of criticism and blossom in front of our eyes a la the TLC biopic. But, as for others, many failed horribly. We just wish you guys never dropped a movie, even if it was just for TV.

We were pretty stumped as to why someone allowed this debacle of a movie to happen. The magnitude of Aaliyah and her stamp on music deserved something more. No shade, to Alexandria Shipp and Lifetime, but they should have pulled the plug.

Drumline 2 was an utter fiasco. Even though they reeled in a whopping 2.4 million viewers for VH1, the plot was abysmal and Nick Cannon’s appearance wasn’t one to remember, since he didn’t play a crucial role in the film.
